So far so good
The sidewall repair kit appears to work well.Time will tell with bush hogging through tough brush, but so far, so good.
So Far a Great Savings that Works
This is my experience. Yours may vary. My repair was on a sidewall on a 10 year old, rear tractor tire that would have cost $1,000 to replace plus the time to get a proper tire. I followed the directions and I must say it is a good looking repair and it is leak free after putting it under significant stress. Time will tell how it holds up, and I will take care not to put the tractor in a position that will cause danger if it fails, but right now it is saving me a significant amount of money. The repair does require a clean, sanded repair area and it takes a few minutes. (Cleaning requires getting rid of the loose dirt. The sanding is fast with the supplied sandpaper and it rids the area of tight surface dirt.) The cutting and application of the patch is somewhat tedious if you want a neat, strong job. I had everything I needed ready and probably spent 20 minutes on the entire application. Take your time and you will do a better job. Bottom line its a great emergency patch to have on hand. It made a neat and tough patch job, and to this point with no sign of impending failure, and it is reasonably priced.

Amazing!
Super quick and easy to apply. We were able to continue on with our trip and didn’t worry at all bout it failing. Thank you so much

Cheap kit
Followed instructions to a tee and patch failed. Literally just a cheap .30 cent piece of rubber, .20 cents of sand paper and some super glue. I find it very convenient that when they repair the sidewall it’s always on a smooth part of the tire, not on raised lettering. That’s cool and all, but when you sidewall a tire Offroad you don’t choose the placement of the gash.

Hey Brandon, Sorry to hear the kit didn't work for you. We are also sorry to hear that you didn't feel it was a good value. We have refunded your entire purchase and would love to hop on a call to talk you through your repair. Here is our phone number: 800-238-9791 As far as the lettering goes, it's pretty inconvenient to sand a bunch of lettering down, no doubt about that. We will be releasing a video next week of a fix we did with damage right through the lettering. Again, it's a ton of work but it beats the alternative when the only other option is walking home. We look forward to chatting on the phone when you have the time and we would be glad to send you another kit free of charge to give it a shot. Have a good one! -The GlueTread Team

Haven’t had to use it yet. And hopefully I don’t. Looks like it should get me back to the trailer.
