The sidewall repair kit appears to work well.Time will tell with bush hogging through tough brush, but so far, so good.
It was very easy to apply and the videos were helpful. However, it didn't work at all. Feel like I wasted the money.

This repair kit was exactly what I needed. I used the Gluetread sidewall repair kit to repair a section of a tractor tire in the tread that had started separating from an old puncture that was repaired on the inside years ago but now it left large crack in the tire tread on the outside. The tire had some age but the tread was still good and the rest of the tire looked fine so I couldn't justify replacing the tire right now but was afraid if I did nothing that debris would eventually get forced into the crack and cause a flat. So, I thought I would try the Gluetread repair kit since I had nothing to lose. Wow!! I was amazed at how simple the process is to apply the patch and how strong the patch bonded to the tire. I checked the repair after some field use and the patch is still in place and appears to be permanently bonded to the tire. Gluetread saved me a lot of money and headache. Thanks
I received one glue vile not nearly enough to do the job
Jeffery, I am sorry to hear this did not work for you. Adhesive wise, more is not better. In a full tube, there is actually enough adhesive to apply two 4-inch patches. We have several videos on our "how-to" page that can help you through this. With that in mind, was the tube of adhesive not full? Regardless, we have refunded your entire purchase and we would love to hop on a call to discuss how to complete your repair. Feel free to call us at (800) 238-9791. Thanks, The GlueTread Team
Worked great on a rear tire that was ballasted. Huge savings compared with having to pull the ballast and pull the tire off the rim.
